Lecureux SA fut fondée en 1961 par Bernard Lecureux, inventeur du premier tournevis électrique pour l’industrie horlogère qui contribua grandement au succès et au développement de l’entreprise. .
Si cette invention révolutionnaire est encore aujourd’hui une référence reconnue, de nombreux développements sont venus compléter au fil des ans le portefeuille de nos produits. Le fameux outil est par la suite devenu connecté et vient d’être encore amélioré grâce à un codeur optique de haute précision.
At the end of the 1990s, Lecureux SA diversified by acquiring various companies.The first acquisition was that of Femto, manufacturing measuring devices for quartz and mechanical movements, followed by the acquisition of CHMicrotech working in the assembly of moving parts and the packing of bridges, plates and other components . This is an important strategic step for Lecureux SA, as it allows it to enter the field of pre-assembly. This area was strengthened in 2007 by the acquisition of Covatec, a company producing presses, welding equipment and special systems intended mainly for the watch industry. At the end of 2012, the Lecureux Group acquired Stoco, a manufacturer of component assembly machines, also active in subcontracting.
Our company is known today for its expertise in automation, assembly and conveying systems. Our needle setter HSM1708 as well as more recently the chronometry cell are among the company’s flagship products due to their innovative nature and ease of use.
With around fifty employees, our company based in Bienne represents a valuable partner for the economic center of the Jura region.
